Business card design
A business card, or visiting card, often travels further than the conversation where you handed it over. Eightweave designs cards that put your name, role and contact details in a clear order, use your brand colours and typefaces, and arrive as print-ready files your printer can use.
Discuss your project
- Start here
- Your logo, brand colours and the exact details for each card
- How we price
- A custom quote for the deliverables, revisions and support you need.
- Working together
- Remote collaboration worldwide, with agreed review points and a clear handover.
Is this the right
fit for your business?
New businesses ordering their first cards, teams that need a consistent set for every person, and established businesses whose cards no longer match their logo or website. Cards work best once the logo and colours are settled; we can scope both together.
What the work can include
Know what
you’re getting.
The final deliverables, quantity and revisions are agreed in your quotation.
- Front and back layouts in your brand colours and typography
- Name, role, phone, email, address and social details arranged for quick reading
- An optional QR code for your website, WhatsApp chat or location
- Individual versions for each team member from one approved design
- Print-ready PDF files with bleed, plus a digital copy for sharing
What we’ll need from you
- Your logo, brand colours and the exact details for each card
- Card size, your printer’s requirements and any finishes you are considering
- How many people need cards and which languages to include
What is scoped separately
Card size, sides, the number of names, revision rounds and file formats are agreed in your quotation. Printing, paper, special finishes such as foil or embossing, and delivery are arranged separately unless included. If you do not have a logo yet, our logo and brand identity service can come first.
Put it into context
What could this look
like for your business?
For a three-person architecture studio, one approved design could carry the logo on the front and each person’s name, role and direct number on the back, with a QR code linking to the studio’s project page. Each name then gets its own print-ready file.

Your questions,
answered.
What size is a standard business card?
In India and the United States, cards are commonly 3.5 × 2 inches (about 89 × 51 mm); 85 × 55 mm is common in much of Europe. We confirm the size and bleed your printer needs before we finalise the files.
Can you print the cards for us?
We prepare the print-ready files. Printing, paper and delivery are separate unless your quotation includes them, and we can tell you what to ask your printer for.
Should a business card include a QR code?
A QR code helps when it opens something worth scanning, such as your website, portfolio, menu or a WhatsApp chat. We keep it large enough to scan reliably and test it before handover. Point it at an address you control, so the printed code keeps working if your pages change.
