YouTube thumbnail design
A thumbnail and a title are usually the first things a viewer sees of your video. Eightweave designs YouTube thumbnails with one clear subject, a few readable words in English or Telugu and a look that stays consistent across your channel.
Discuss your project
- Start here
- Your channel link, audience and the videos that need thumbnails
- How we price
- A custom quote for the deliverables, revisions and support you need.
- Working together
- Remote collaboration worldwide, with agreed review points and a clear handover.
Is this the right
fit for your business?
Creators, channels and businesses that publish videos regularly and want every thumbnail to look like part of the same channel. It suits a new channel setting its look as well as an established channel refreshing older videos. A thumbnail should match what the video delivers; the two work together.
What the work can include
Know what
you’re getting.
The final deliverables, quantity and revisions are agreed in your quotation.
- A thumbnail direction and reusable layouts for your channel
- Custom thumbnails for the agreed number of videos
- Short title text in English, Telugu or both, readable on phones
- Clean-up and cut-outs from your supplied photos or video frames
- Final 1280 × 720 files and editable templates for future videos
What we’ll need from you
- Your channel link, audience and the videos that need thumbnails
- Video titles, key frames or photos, and your logo or channel colours
- Thumbnails you like, how many you need and your upload schedule
What is scoped separately
The number of thumbnails, alternate versions, revision rounds and template handover are agreed in your quotation. Photography, video editing, channel management and paid stock images are separate unless included. Views and click-through rates depend on the video, title and audience, so we do not promise results.
Put it into context
What could this look
like for your business?
For a Telugu cooking channel, a series template could keep the dish on one side, two or three Telugu words on the other and the channel colour in the same corner every week. A viewer scrolling the channel then recognises the series before reading the title.
A recognisable weekly series for a cooking, education or tech channel
Telugu and English versions for a channel that publishes in both
Matching covers for YouTube Shorts, podcast episodes and video ads

Your questions,
answered.
Can you make thumbnails in Telugu?
Yes. We set short Telugu, English or bilingual title text and check that the Telugu script stays readable at the small sizes people see on their phones.
Do you need a new photo of me for every video?
Not always. We can work from photos or video frames you supply, your logo, product images or illustrated elements. A clear, well-lit photo of a face or product usually gives the strongest starting point.
Can we test two versions of a thumbnail?
Yes. Alternate versions can be included in your quotation, so you can compare them in YouTube Studio where testing is available for your channel, or swap them yourself.
What size are the thumbnail files?
We deliver custom thumbnails at 1280 × 720 pixels, the 16:9 size YouTube recommends, in a format YouTube Studio accepts. We check the title text at small sizes, because many viewers first see a thumbnail on a phone.
